Reflection

The technology integration plan I created for MEDT 8462 was one of the most intensive projects for the Ed.S program. It used most of the skills I’ve learned during this program about how to be an agent for change. The only thing lacking from this project was that I didn’t actually put the plan into action (that wasn’t a requirement of the assignment) but I like to think that if I were an education technology specialist I could have seen this to fruition. I feel like the data analysis part was the trickiest because I was working with minimal data, but I still feel like my proposed goals had utility for all stakeholders. The second article was an evaluation of the program I’m in now and how well the courses and instructors adhere to known best practices for online learning. Thankfully, based on my investigations, the program obtained high marks! I always enjoy learning more about how to best teach online, but it also gave me a greater appreciation for how well West Georgia does follow best practices.
